Has is really been so long since I last posted?  Where the heck has the time gone???

Honestly, I’m being torn in many different directions…

I spent 10 days walking, talking and spending many hours with an amazing man before he had to go fishing.  Sad, that…but he phoned on Monday and we had a nice chat.  I can’t wait for him to get back into town, I really want to see what happens next.  We get on so very well and think through things in much the same way.  Even as far as trying to sprout avocado seeds and saving the wishbone…

On the other hand, with all I want to do and work on, its a good thing he is out being busy too!

Not only did I get the May fiber for Spunky Club (“Carnivorous”, based on colours of a Venus Fly-trap) but also got the Team Jamie SW Merino/Bamboo/Nylon AND Virgo in Merino/Yak.  I can’t choose which to delve into next…

Which was made worse by getting the May-June mystery colourway from IntotheWhirled and its supplemental colourways…

Not to mention all the other beautiful roving that I have waiting because I cant spin it all NOW…

Because if I’m spinning, I’m not knitting and right now I have a Wallaby…

a sock (#1)…

a baby sock (#2)…

and hiding at work are my handspun “work socks”…all on the needles and in various stages of done-ness.  In reality, only the hat and 2 pairs of socks really matter to me right now.  The hat for the fishing gentleman, handspun socks for me and the baby socks for my nephew…who I hope still will fit them!

And I’m taking two classes.  Psychology and Anatomy and Physiology 2 and because of the summer term, its 12 weeks of class shoved into 9 weeks which means everything is being worked fast and furious.

And I’m looking forward to my trip to MI in 23 days…

And to top it all off, I’m working full time and pulling call.  Some days this doesnt play a major role, other days it throws a HUGE wrench in my works…physical and mental.

To balance it all, running helps 🙂  Taking that time to step back from “everything else” and just focus on getting there and back and breathing really, really helps.
