Dang. It wasn’t a gauge issue was it? Would needle size fix it?
At first I was thinking you could just frog the end and make it a little longer…but the thumb is in the wrong place too. YUCK. Stupid pattern.
I agree, the frogged yarn belongs in piles on the floor. Hopefully you stomped on it a little big before gathering it up again too

Actually, the thumb is perfectly placed. It always looks a bit awkward with these kinds of mittens but it fits really well.
